Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer is a harmful type of cancer which causes more death in comparisons to the other cancers which are related to female reproductive cancer, the origin of the ovarian cancer is the ovaries they are two in numbers present on the both the sides of uterus.

the size of ovaries are of an almond they play vital role as they produces eggs and some hormones also such as estrogen and progesterone as it disrupts the normal function of the ovaries and remains undetected until it spreads within the abdomen and pelvis and with the time goes the disease spreads in other parts of body.

CAUSES DUE TO

There are many reason behind the causing of the ovarian cancer in which females who never had a children comes under high risk of being a patient of ovarian cancer , whereas those women who ovulate a lot in their lifetime are also in high risk,

so therefore women's whose menstrual cycle started very early age and ending of her period or menopause at late age and never had children and never get pregnant are under high risk.

Women's who are of age 6o and above comes under high risk, genetics and having history of ovarian cancer in family are also the reason behind the cause of ovarian cancer.

SYMPTOMS

The disease cause tumor which can cause fatal if it spreads in the other parts of the body so its better to watch out and notice all the symptoms to detect the disease as quick as possible, some major symptoms include,

• Persistent stomach pain
• Difficult in eating
• Ongoing pain
• Cramp in belly and back
• Abnormal vaginal bleeding
• Nausea
• Bloating
• Pail in pelvis
• Urinary problem

DIAGNOSIS

If you are observing symptoms which may be related to the ovarian cancer then concern with the doc tor as soon as possible so that with the help of physical examination and other test like ultrasound, computed tomography scan, barium enema x- rays the cancer will be detect frequently for the quick start of the treatment.

TREATMENT

The treatment of the ovarian cancer have different types of treatments which are available according to the diagnosis result and stage of the cancer surgery is done to remove the tumor but only when it had need been outspreaded into the other portions beside the surgery other treatments are also available such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, are used for the cure of it.
