What is In vitro fertilization?
In vitro fertilization includes the process of rescue eggs an fertilizing with sperm. The eggs retrieve from a woman's ovaries and after fertilizing the egg and sperm become embryo.
After becoming embryo it can be transplanted into woman's uterus. It can be also frozen by doctors too as per the situation and goal.
IVF can be used for various situation depending on condition.

A woman can also carry pregnancy for you this is called surrogate. In this process embryo will be put into some other woman's uterus

Why is IVF performed?
Couple with infertility can choose to have baby, although the in vitro fertilization is expensive and persistent process hence the initially couples try fertility drugs or having intrauterine insemination before this treatment owing to its expensive cost

- Reduced or damaged fertility (over 40 age)

If the couple has risk of passing genetic code, IVF can be used.
Before this process the medical lab should test embryos for genetic deviation. Only normal embryos should be implemented
Preparing for in vitro fertilization:
Before implementation and IVF, doctor will do some diagnosis
Ovarian reserve testing
In this test, blood sample will be test for follicle stimulating hormone (fsh). Doctors predicates the size and quality of woman's eggs
In this test, woman will undergo ultrasound to know preview of internal structure. This process involves inserting a scope through vagina and in uterus. This test will determine the health status of uterus. So that the doctor will carry out best plan to implant embryo
Test for men
This test is consists of giving a semen sample. By this sample, doctor will evaluate the size, number and quality of sperm.
If the test result is weak or damaged sperm than doctor recommends icsi.
Before the procedure
Before procedure demands many personal decisions such as, what will be done with unused embryo, how many embryos to be transfer, doctor recommends just one.
This procedure can result to multiple pregnancy.
Legal issues with donated sperm, eggs, embryos or surrogate. Often it can be emotional decision too. it demands physical and mentally and financially strength.

In this process fertility eggs to be taken by woman to produce more than one egg. This will be track by ultrasound and blood test and can be predicate when to rescue them
It is a surgical procedure for follicular aspiration.
Your doctor will use an ultrasound wand to guide a needle through your vagina, into your ovary, and into an egg-containing follicle. The needle will suction eggs and fluid out of each follicle.
After retrieving egg, men's will be ask to give semen sample. This sample consists of sperm and this will added with the given eggs into a dish. ICSI need to be done if it doesn't produce embryo
The mixture of dish, the embryo will be test by doctors to know normality of genetic code and to see developing rate.
When the embryo will be large enough to implant, it will be inserted into vagina and into uterus by catheter tube. Normally embryo can be implant after 3-5 days after fertilization of eggs blood test will be conduct to ensure this.
After this implementation, embryo will implant with uterine wall by itself so after this pregnancy will be occurring.
- By IVF, multiple pregnancies can be occurring which results as premature birth or low weight baby.
- Pregnancy can be trash (miscarriage)
- The embryo cab be implant at outer of uterus which can cause ectopic
- Ectopic pregnancy (when the eggs implant outside the uterus)
- Rarely ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome
- Damage of organ (rare)
